Phoenix Contact’s new ME Series of disconnect terminal blocks, the latest addition to the CLIPLINE complete system of products, are designed for easy and individually configurable current transformer (CT) test and measurement functions. The test disconnect terminal blocks, PE terminals and feed-through terminal blocks all have the same pitch and profile. All are available with the UTME screw and STME spring-cage connection technology. The core of the test disconnect terminal block is the screw-free disconnect lever that provides visual indication of the switch’s position. The switch position is clearly imprinted on the switching mechanism. Each block has a set of three bridging channels on either side of the disconnect lever. The new pluggable shorting component can lock into one of the bridging channels. Even with the shorting component installed, the two remaining bridging channels can still be used for test sockets or the push-in bridges.
